Asked to describe AMAV II in three words, Louise chooses “personal,” “curated” and “loving.” Her current favourite, a 2007 Just Cavalli jacket with snakeskin lining, captures her eye for pieces that feel bold, unexpected and difficult to forget. As Louise simply puts it: “I can’t get over it.”
AMAV II was born during a transitional period in Louise’s life, when starting something of her own felt like the only right thing to do. Rooted in a deep love of sourcing vintage, secondhand and archival pieces, the store became a way to create something personal, instinctive and real.
The selection brings together timeless Italian style, rock’n’roll and a darker party-girl aesthetic. Louise is particularly drawn to IYKYK pieces with the unmistakable energy of the late 90s and early 00s.
